Sharassa is a Firesoul Genasi and the leader of the Genasi in Vuul'kira. During Episode II: Oasis, the Sandstriders were made to wait by Sharassa for a period of 10 hours. This did not sit well with them and led to the Destruction of the Spire.
In retribution, Sharassa mobilized the Genasi armies and headed to find the Sandstriders. They were not able to reach them before the Events at the Old Gate.
In the years following, Sharassa consolidated control of the Genasi into her hands. She oversaw Genasi expansion in Vuul'kira, to the point where they controlled nearly the whole plane, outside of the Western border and the Thri-Kreen tunnels.
Sharassa made a deal with The Mixer, who brewed her a potent magical potion to increase her power. When Cyric came to Vuul'kira using the Riftspanner, the Genasi bowed to his influence. Sharassa was tasked with making sure the Sandstriders didn't follow him to his next destination.
She ultimately failed in this and was killed at the top of the new Spire in Firesoul by the Sandstriders.
