Urghoz is an island located off the western coast of Woestijn on the Central Continent. It is the ancestral home of the Orcs. The capital of Urghoz is Fahk.
First Orc Arrival[]
The orcs came from Woestijn after a terrible plague killed all of their crops and farmland there. They settled Urghoz and lived there for hundreds of years.
Spellplague and Return to Woestijn[]
Unbeknownst to the orcs, they released an ancient force which had lain dormant for many years on the island. A horrible energy overtook the island - the orcs called it "Spellplague" - and they were forced to flee to Woestijn again. Urghoz was abandoned to this ancient, evil force.
Clearing of the Evil Force[]
After Reclamation, McCreedy and the half-orcs worked with Tolsmir and agents of Jenova to clear the Spellplague off the island. With the help of Jenova, they cleansed the land and made it inhabitable for the Orcs. The orcs moved back to the land and live there now.
