The Psychos were a group of less-than-stable, violent criminals in Oasis who worked under the control of Maron after the Sandstriders killed his Enforcers.
Origins[]
Maron kept secret prisons underneath Oasis. They are where he kept Asana for most of Episode II: Oasis, and also where he kept the most violent and dangerous criminals. Four of these criminals, whose names were lost to time, were especially brutal and ruthless.
Control and Working for Maron[]
Maron had The Professor come up with a way for him to control the Psychos into carrying out his will. The Professor came up with a complicated ritual which involved a magical tattoo on Maron's back. It remained mostly untested when Maron, desperate to defeat the Sandstriders, released the Psychos and forced them to a) take back The Professor from the rebels' camp in the Shadow Forest and b) retrieve the Green Gem.
The Psychos traveled with Maron to the Events at the Old Gate. When all hell broke loose, they attempted to defend him at his bidding; but, when he died, the spell was broken, and they began fending for themselves.

The Psychos are:
- The Giant, a blue-skinned giant with a huge club and a love of smashing things
- The Ghoul, a foul creature with gruesome teeth and claws
- The Dancer, a very small halfling and expert in explosives and swing
- The Mercenary, the most cogent of the group and a psionic magic user
